Orchestra, Choir, and Band all had their concerts last night for 6th grade. They all did a wonderful job performing for the visitors in the packed house! We also displayed their larger than life self portraits around the building for parents and visitors to see. A photo booth was set up for the kids to take photos with their friends. A lot of fun was had and it was a successful night!

5th graders are starting to work on self portraits. They learned how to create value, using just their pencil. They made value scales using different types of marks on the page, for examples scribbles or crosshatching marks. They are using a photo as reference to find the different values and then apply them to their drawing.
