All 6th grade students will be coming home with a artsonia.com coupon this week. We have been working on holiday art and it will be posted by Friday, if the student has finished on time. There are many other galleries to look at too. This is a great way to create cusom holiday cards or other keepsakes. Below is what the coupon looks like. Remember the school earns 20% back as a fundraiser for the art room! 
  There will be an artist reception on Monday December 8th from 5:30-6:30 for K-12 visual artists. The reception is in the Gainey Gallery, which is attached to the Van Singel Fine Arts Center, attached to the high school. 6th graders, please check the posting in Schoology to see if you have work in the show. If you do not, stop by anyway to see all of the beautiful work and support your fellow classmates and the visual arts district wide. Artastic is after the reception, stick around to hear our musicians in the district as well!   |
